Planning Ahead

Let us help with interment planning

Preplanning gives individuals and families the opportunity to become informed about products and services that are available. Many people have no idea about what is involved in making final arrangements. Most do not even know the terminology or questions to ask the professionals in order to compare services and prices. Since the cost of final arrangements is a major purchase, consumer education is of utmost importance. The State of Florida has provided a strict legal code to protect consumers when dealing with licensed providers. State inspections of grounds and audits of records ensure protection, but it is the consumer’s responsibility to become educated. At the cemetery, individuals and families should preplan and prepay for the burial space, interment service, burial vault, and grave marker.

Why Pre-Plan?

To help with the pre-planning process, and to help reduce stresses involved with the death of a loved one, we offer at no charge the Emergency Record Guide. This planning book deals thoughtfully with the one true inevitability of life, and has been designed to provide you a place to record virtually all of the vital personal and financial data that will be needed one day. It is important to take your time, weigh your options, and make educated decisions. The last page of the Emergency Record Guide presents a list of 49 of the countless things that must be done at the time of death. Many of these things can and should be done ahead of time. A place for the needed information has been set forth in a concise and practical manner, but it needs you to complete it.
