Healing from a loss is not easy. It is a long, usually painful process. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you have probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. People who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time facilitate the group.
The videos, journal, and group discussions and support will encourage you in your transition from mourning to joy. The series includes thirteen video presentations with titles such as When Your Dreams Fall Apart and Grief Recovery Toolkit.
Each session is "self-contained," so that you do not have to attend in sequence. Well-known Christian authors, pastors, and counselors speak directly to hurting families through this video series.
GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. Please join us any Monday at 6:30pm at the cemetery office. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, feel free to stop by or call to ask about GriefShare.
